Martin Newman
With nearly 4 decades of experience within the retail industry, Martin is a force for positive change for both consumers and brands. Over the years, he has worked with prestigious brands such as Ted Baker, Burberry, Intersport, Pentland Brands (Speedo, Berghaus). Martin founded global ecommerce and digital consultancy Practicology (now Pattern), which was sold in 2018 after having scaled up to a global staff of 100 in offices across the UK, EU, Middle East and Asia. Martin has since set up The Customer First Group and two new consumer facing websites Customer Service Action and ServeOmeter. He is the author of best-seller “100 Practical Ways to Improve Customer Experience”, shortlisted for the Business Book of the Year Award 2019, and has recently published his second book “The Power of Customer Experience”, already regarded as a must-have by retail leaders.
